We've highlighted many times the importance of having a specific and detailed set of values that you are looking for in a potential match to help our Matchmakers be more successfull in pairing you. Additionally, it's great to share with the Matchmakers the type of relationship you would like to
have. Above and beyond the type of person you want to be with is how you want to interact with them. This will also help you really center in on what's important to you. By "case examples" we ask you to think about specific couples you know, and what elements of their relationship you would like to incorporate into your future partnerships.
Here's how to get started:
PICK A PEER COUPLE Look out among your friends, in your same age and situation, and choose a couple that you think has a lot of the right ingredients for a healthy, vibrant relationship. What guidelines should the Matchmaker take from this couple?
PICK A YOUNG COUPLE Young couples overindex on energy and optimism. Think of a young couple that you know that has some qualities in their relationship that are common to youth but you believe should be timeless.
PICK AN OLDER COUPLE Great relationships last a lifetime, and part of that lifetime is the Golden Years. We all know a couple that has seemed to "keep that magic alive" and serve as a great model for all relationships. Share with your Matchmaker the details of a couple you know that you hope to emulate in a few decades.
Building a "relationship" profile is just as important as building a "desired characteristics" profile -- get started today and add some case examples to your profile.
