Are guys more romantic than women?

Gentleman,

Hopefully you read our post about committing to romance in 2011 and are already full-steam-ahead.

I just read a great article asserting that men are naturally more romantic than women. Over a broad study they did with 400+ couples, the male was much more likely to speak about the marriage in romantic/fairy tale terms, and the woman more likely to talk about the relationship.

This may be true, but there is still a perception that men are not romantic enough and PERCEPTION IS REALITY in building relationships. The big gap in the PERCEPTION is most likely in line with the differences in what men and women consider romantic. Men have a stronger belief that romance is rooted in the actions they take, and women believe it is more tied to the words they say.

Bottom line, fellas: bring her flowers and you're a good guy. Tell her that you saw the fresh field flowers and it made you think of how she lights up a room, and you are an A+ Romantic!!!
