November is a wonderful month.
The Halloween sugar high is subsiding, there is a great crispness in the air, and I'm already starting to think about my Mom's secret stuffing recipe that comes out once a year on Thanksgiving. November is also a month that people associate with change and reflection. I don't know if the feelings of change are sparked by the political elections, the rapid approach of the end of the year, or just the extended metaphor of the changing leaves. Is the increased introspection and look-back just part of holiday tradition or linked into the all of the business focus on hitting certain goals by year-end?
What I do know is that at Kelleher International we see a surge in our client activity, and I see it rooted in our clients' desire for change and a deeper personal insight into what is important in life.
My charge to you this month is to combine your feelings of change and introspection that fill this time of year. In addition to being grateful for the abundance you have today, think forward to Thanksgiving 2011 and describe to yourself what you want to be thankful for one year from now. Do you have a clear picture in your mind of what exactly will make you magnificently happier one year from today? Are you on the path to finding "the One" that will fill your heart with love? Are you actively trying to make that future happen that you hope to be thankful for? If the answer to any of these questions is no, then it is time to get clear on the future so we can make it happen together.
At Kelleher International my Mom and I are infinitely grateful for our wonderful team and a magnificent group of clients. and we hope all of you have a great, heart-filled holiday,
