together.

First, be confident and dress to impress. For men, leave the tattered jeans and worn out t-shirt at home, even if you are going to a casual location. Instead opt for a clean pair of jeans or slacks and a fresh, clean shirt. Wear spotless shoes that complement your attire. If you will be wearing formal or semi-formal attire, dress shoes, slacks and a nice button-down shirt are perfectly acceptable.

Some formal establishments require a jacket and tie, so do your homework and be prepared. If you are taking her out, be sure to hint at the type of establishment you may be taking her to, as she will want to dress for the occasion. For ladies, wear modest clothing that flatters your figure and invites him to want to see more, rather than showing him everything at once with a too-short skirt and low-cut blouse. This does not mean that you have to cover up like a nun, it merely encourages you to pick something more visually subtle.

Apply makeup, but don't make it obvious that you are using it. Good makeup should appear as if you are wearing no makeup at all - that you have naturally flawless skin. Wear it with confidence and a smile, and you will be too sexy to resist. Keep in mind that, if you want a man who will make you his life companion for more than a single evening, you will need to earn his attention and respect.

Second, have a plan. When a woman is being taken on a date, there is nothing more impressive than a man's confidence and his ability to plan ahead. Have a clear idea of what you will be doing and where you will be going, and have the foresight to make reservations if needed. Always have a backup plan in mind in case something does not work out. It is also smart to plan something around your date's interests. They will be all the more impressed with you if you have remembered what they enjoy.

Third, don't be afraid to think in simple terms. While some people think a movie and dinner are poor choices for a date, they can actually be very effective ways to get to know each other. See a movie first so that you have something else to discuss over dinner. Dates as simple as getting coffee, visiting an amusement park, going on a picnic and enjoying a wine tasting and museum visit are all wonderful choices for making a memorable evening.

Finally, make small gestures count. For men, this means that you open the door for her and pull out her chair at the dining table. Hold her hand, walk her to her door, and compliment her appearance. Little things like this make you the gentleman in her eyes. For ladies, thank him for his actions and make sure he knows that you notice these little things, and that you appreciate what he does.
